Privacy statement.
During
the transaction process we need to obtain certain information from you.
Your name and address, your e-mail address, and also your Credit/Debit card
details if you pay online. We need this information to function as an e-commerce
site, and this is the only purpose for which we use your information.
We
do not :
- Pass-on or sell your
details to any third party;
- Sell your e-mail
address to any mailing lists, or newsletters;
- Send you follow up
e-mails with "special offers" etc.; or
- Store your details
on a database.
Our
only purpose is to supply domestic appliance spares to our customers, and
nothing else.
Security statement.
It
is now widely accepted that Internet transactions are safe and secure when
done properly. This means using a secure on-line payment system which encrypts
your details before they are sent, processes the transactions in real time,
confirms the transaction with the merchant and the customer by email, and
generates a transaction number so that the order can be tracked by both
merchant and customer.
How we process transactions safely.
Rather than take your details and process the transactions ourselves, we use
on-line card processing to take our payments for us. We use the new Google checkout system as it provides a mixture of high security for transactions with a back end system that allows customers to track their order in real time.
The
advantages are :

in real time. i.e. Confirmation in a few seconds.
- Complex anti-fraud security
measures are in place for your (and our) protection.
- Your order is processed
immediately so goods can be delivered quickly.
- Your order is tracked
using a unique reference number.
- We never see your Credit/Debit
card details, we only receive the payment.
Using on-line card processing to process payments means that at no time
do we ever see your Credit/Debit card details. The payment is made to
our acquiring bank via Google checkout. This again enhances security as we do
not need to hold your Credit/Debit card details on any of our systems,
on-line or off-line.
